What you are actually using
Two launch models, and which one you get
Which model a launch uses is decided by the venue, not by you, and it changes what the token does on day one.
- Direct to Uniswap V4 - every live EVM venue: Robinhood Chain, BNB Smart Chain, Base, Ethereum and Arc. The launch deploys the token straight into a single-sided hooked V4 pool, the full supply becomes that pool's liquidity, and the position is burned to
0xdead. There is no curve, no funding target and no separate graduation step: it trades from block one and the liquidity can never be pulled, by anyone, including us. - A bonding curve - Solana, and PONS on Robinhood Chain. Price is a formula, not an order book: every buy moves it up, every sell moves it down. When enough has been bought the token graduates into a real pool and the liquidity is locked there. See the bonding curve.
Ethereum mainnet runs the canonical Uniswap V4 our direct stack was written against, so it needed no port. It is ETH-quoted, one venue, with the opening bundle included. Holder rewards and buyback & burn are coming there rather than absent - see Chains & venues for what each chain offers today.
What makes it different
- Stock-native features. Robinhood Chain settles tokenized equities as plain ERC-20s, each with a Chainlink price feed. degen.zone benchmarks every token against SPY live on the site, and has built - pending audit - fee routing that pays creators, and even a memecoin's stakers, in tokenized stock. On any other chain that is a synthetic wrapper; here it is a token transfer. Tokenized equities.
- Creator-first economics. You pick the rate you earn at launch, from
0.5%to5%, and keep all of it. The platform's cut rides on top rather than coming out of yours, so moving up a tier costs you nothing. The full arithmetic is in Fees & earnings. - Transparency as a product. The liquidity lock is structural, not a promise. Locked and vesting supply is shown on the token page. The bundler is built so multi-wallet buys are permanently disclosed on-chain instead of hidden from scanners.
What you are trusting
Honest docs say what is guaranteed by code and what is not. Guaranteed by construction: tokens have no mint function and no pause; the liquidity position cannot be withdrawn by anyone, including degen.zone; a creator's fee percentage cannot be raised after launch by anyone, including admins. Still trusted: the launchpad contracts sit behind upgradeable proxies, background keepers run the fee and payout jobs, and an admin recovery path exists for curve launches whose graduation permanently fails - callable only 24 h after completion, and sweeping to the platform treasury, never to an individual. Security & audits has the detail.
These tokens are extremely volatile and most go to zero. Slippage protection and live quotes are built into every trade, but no mechanism removes market risk. Nothing in these docs is financial advice.
