Safety & trust#

Can a creator rug their token?

Not by the classic mechanisms. Tokens have no mint function and no pause; the entire supply is minted into the pool by the launcher, never into a wallet. On the direct-to-pool chains (Robinhood, BSC, Base, Ethereum, Arc) the full supply becomes the pool's liquidity in the launch transaction and the LP position is burned to 0xdead, so the liquidity is locked from block one. On the curve venues (Solana's native curve, and Ronin once it opens) the same lock happens at graduation. What no design can prevent: a creator (or anyone) selling tokens they legitimately bought. Supply concentration is the thing to check, which is why the app discloses dev buys, locks and bundles.

Can degen.zone itself pull the liquidity?

No function exists to withdraw a launched position - not admin-gated, simply absent. The launcher can only collect the position's trading fees, and on the direct-to-pool chains the pool's own LP fee is zero, so there is nothing to collect there either. See “LP locked forever”, precisely.

The V4 pool isn’t on Uniswap - where is the LP, and where do I claim?

A degen.zone V4 pool keeps its liquidity inside the Uniswap V4 PoolManager with the position burned to the dead address, so Uniswap's app has nothing to list and nothing to claim. The same fact is the guarantee: with no position in anyone's hands and no withdraw function in the contract, the liquidity cannot be pulled by the creator, by us, or by anyone else. The same holds on BSC's PancakeSwap Infinity venue, where the pool lives in PancakeSwap's Infinity pool manager and settles through its Vault. Creator fees are claimed on the token page here, in full, straight to your wallet - only the location differs, never the amount. See Why a V4 pool is not on Uniswap.

Is the platform audited?

Honestly: by us, not yet by an external firm. The Uniswap V4 direct-launch stack that Robinhood, Base, Ethereum, Arc and BSC's V4 venue run has been through several adversarial multi-reviewer audit rounds run by the team before each mainnet step (the internal pre-mainnet audit, the reward-escrow audit, and a review of each later feature: the direct-launch model, the bundlers, the pair suite, buyback&burn, the custom fee recipient, the PONS bundler). Findings were fixed and fork-proven, and the reports are published in the repository. No external audit firm has signed off the current V4 stack.

The PancakeSwap Infinity port on BSC was audited in-house on 2026-09-19 with the same adversarial process: two independent slices (hook + router; launcher, launch library + bundler), each producing executable proof-of-concept tests and a report, then a coordinator verification pass. Result: 0 critical, 0 high, 0 medium; 4 low findings, all fixed before deployment. The report lives in the repository at docs/audit/infinity-2026-09-19/README.md; the repository is private, so ask and it will be made available on request. Solana's launch, fee-router and buyback&burn programs went through two internal rounds before mainnet, and the deployed program hash is verified. The full list is on Security & audits.

A fresh external audit is a hard requirement before the stock-conversion features go live; features gated on it are labelled “built · not live” throughout these docs.

Will I make money?

Statistically, probably not: most launchpad tokens go to zero. The platform's protections are about fairness (no snipers, no rugs, honest disclosure), not about returns. Never trade more than you can afford to lose.

Trading#

Why did my transaction revert?

  • Slippage: the price moved past your tolerance - the revert saved you from a worse fill. Retry, or widen the tolerance a step.
  • Wrong chain or venue: the wallet is on a different network than the token, or the transaction was built for the other BSC venue. The app asks you to switch before it lets you sign; if you overrode that, switch and retry.
  • Max wallet (curve venues only): the buy would take you above 2% of supply on an anti-sniper token while it is still bonding. The direct-to-pool chains have no wallet cap.
  • Minimum buy (curve venues only): curve buys below the venue's dust floor are rejected.
  • State change (curve venues only): the curve completed between your quote and your transaction; trading resumes on the DEX after graduation.

I bought more than the curve had left - where is the rest?

Refunded in the same transaction. The completing buy is only charged what the curve still needed. This only arises on the curve venues (Solana's native curve today); a direct-to-pool token has no cap to hit. See the completion buy.

Where does my token trade?

On Robinhood, BSC, Base, Ethereum and Arc there is no graduation: the token trades in its own hooked pool from the launch block, and you buy and sell it right on the token page through degen.zone's swap router for that pool (the Uniswap V4 PoolManager, or on BSC's Infinity venue PancakeSwap's Vault). Aggregators such as GMGN and DexScreener pick the pool up on their own. On Solana a native-curve token trades on its Meteora curve until it graduates into a Meteora DAMM v2 pool, and the token page keeps trading it in-app either way.

For creators#

What does a launch cost?

A flat launch fee of about $5, paid in the chain's native coin inside the launch transaction: 0.002 ETH on Robinhood and Base, 0.00685 BNB on BSC, and 0 on Arc today. If you bundle wallets into the opening buy, an opening-bundle fee of about $10 is charged once on top (0.004 ETH on Robinhood and Base, 0.0137 BNB on BSC). Both numbers are read live from the launcher contract and shown in the summary before you sign, so what you see is what the chain charges. Your dev buy and any bundled buys are on top of that, and gas is the chain's own. Solana venues have their own venue-specific costs. The per-chain table is on Fees & earnings.

Which liquidity venue should I pick on BSC?

BSC is the one chain with more than one pool venue, chosen per launch under the chain tiles. Uniswap V4 is the default: the same audited stack Robinhood, Arc and Base run, unchanged. PancakeSwap Infinity is PancakeSwap's V4-style hooked-pool singleton, where BSC liquidity and the Binance tokenized stocks (bStocks) live, so it is the only venue that can pay holders in CAKE or in NVDAB, AAPLB, TSLAB. Fees, the bundle, the dev buy and vanity addresses work identically on both; the pick is permanent, like the chain. Deep-link a venue with /launch?chain=bsc&venue=v4 or …&venue=infinity. See Liquidity venue.

How do I claim my fees?

From your token's page, any time - fees accrue on-chain, there is no minimum and no deadline. You can also redirect the payout to another address. On the curve venues, vested token-side fees unlock over the 30 days after graduation. See Claiming.

Can I change my token’s fee or supply later?

No - and neither can we. Everything economic is immutable from the launch block, by design: it is what lets buyers rely on the terms. The full permanent-vs-editable table is in Launching a token.

Why can’t I pick “Pay me in stock” yet?

The conversion contracts are built but gated on an external audit, and the rail is not live on any chain - so the launch form shows the equity route as a preview you cannot select, rather than an option that could strand your fees behind a conversion that does not run. It opens after the audit. See FEE→STOCK.

My token’s description or image didn’t appear.

The metadata upload happens right after the launch transaction and retries on failure; give it a moment, or re-open the launch page - it self-heals. Name and ticker are on-chain and always present.

Multichain & features#

Why did my Solana token earn no referral?

Because referral attribution is EVM-only today, by design. The EVM launchpad withholds the referral share on-chain, but the Solana curve (Meteora DBC) has no such bucket, so a Solana trade records a referral of exactly 0. Your link still works everywhere - it just earns nothing on Solana volume. See Referrals.

A “reward token” taxes transfers - does that work the same on every chain?

No, and this is the most-confused feature. Only Solana’s Token-2022 program can tax every transfer on any venue. An EVM reward token cannot - an ERC-20 reaches holders only through its official pool’s fee, so a transfer that never touches that pool is never taxed. Payout is keeper-driven on both, never instant. Full split in Reward tokens.

Can I bridge or swap inside the app?

Yes - one LI.FI widget bridges across, and swaps on, Ethereum, BSC, Base, Ronin and Solana. It is non-custodial and works today. Robinhood Chain is deliberately not in it: Robinhood funds move over our own LayerZero path instead. Our 0.75% fee is disclosed but not yet collected - it switches on once the integrator is registered.

Can I choose my token’s address?

Optionally. On EVM chains the launch grinds a CREATE2 salt for a vanity address; on Solana a chosen mint address comes with the pump.fun bundle flow’s keypair grind. It is opt-in and non-custodial. On BSC's Infinity venue the salt is additionally bound to your wallet, so a pre-announced vanity address cannot be claimed by someone else deploying at it first - see Vanity addresses.

Why can’t I expand my token to another chain - and why not on Ronin?

Cross-chain expansion is built end to end but not yet live (it is held on two fee numbers and one watched run). Two permanent exclusions apply regardless: Ronin has no LayerZero endpoint, so it can never send or receive an expansion (Arc is in the same position - no endpoint there yet); and a reward token is excluded on every chain, because its 3% mint fee cannot survive a bridge.

Which networks are live - is it mainnet yet?

Five venues are live on mainnet, all spending real coins. Robinhood Chain (since 25 Aug 2026), Arc (Circle’s USDC-native chain, since 16 Sep 2026), Base (since 18 Sep 2026) and BNB Smart Chain (since 19 Sep 2026, with the PancakeSwap Infinity and Uniswap V4 venues) all use the direct-to-pool model, with holder rewards and buyback&burn live on each. On Solana the pump.fun bundle, the native Meteora curve and Raydium custom pairs run on mainnet. Still coming: Ronin and HyperEVM; chains marked “coming soon” can be joined via waitlist but not launched on. The living list is on Status & availability.

Is my token verified on the explorer?

Yes, automatically, on every chain: the source is submitted to Sourcify and to the chain's explorer (Blockscout on Robinhood and Arc, Basescan on Base, BscScan on BSC) right after launch, which is what GoPlus and GMGN read for their “verified” and “renounced” badges.

Wallets & account#

Which wallets work?

Any injected EVM wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, …), WalletConnect, and embedded email/social sign-in. Solana wallets (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack) connect alongside - the app holds both at once.

Why did a Terms window appear when I connected?

The first time a wallet connects, the app asks you to accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (version 2026-10-17). Browsing and reading never need acceptance; while the window is open the app refuses to submit any on-chain transaction.

What does signing in add on top of connecting?

Connecting lets you trade - trades are wallet transactions and need no account. Signing (a gas-free signature, not a transaction) proves you own the address and unlocks the profile layer: watchlist, referral earnings, notifications, and editing your tokens' metadata.

Someone launched a token with the same ticker as mine.

Tickers are not unique - on one chain or across chains - which is why the app always shows the chain mark and the contract address. The address is the identity; share yours from the token page.

The Land & the coin flip#

What is The Land?

A 1000×1000-pixel advertising board sold in 10×10 blocks: buy a rectangle, put your artwork and a link on it, resell it whenever you like. Ownership lives on-chain; artwork is reviewed before it goes up. Find it at /land - the page itself tells you if it is not yet configured on this deployment.

Is there really a coin flip?

An even-money coin flip settled by commit-reveal exists in the app: the house commits to a seed before you bet and publishes it afterwards, so every past flip can be recomputed and checked by anyone. It is dormant until its contract is configured - and wagering products may additionally be unavailable depending on jurisdiction. Full mechanics in Coin flip.

Still stuck#

How do I reach a human?

Email team@degen.zone. It reaches the team directly, and it is the right channel for anything you would rather not post in public - a stuck launch, a payout that looks wrong, a security report, a press or partnership question, or a privacy request under the Privacy Policy.

It helps enormously to include the chain, the token or contract address and the transaction hash: with those three a launch can be traced end to end, and without them the first reply is only going to ask for them. For anything public, X and Telegram are usually faster.

Something on this page is wrong or out of date.

Tell us at team@degen.zone and quote the sentence. These docs are written against the code and are meant to be checkable; a line that no longer matches what the contracts do is a defect in the same way a broken button is.
